KJL is run by Kevin Legge, born in Ipswich and in the building trade since he was 15, including ten years as a site foreman. When you book, you deal with Kevin from the first message to the finished job.
And it doesn’t end at handover: if something you had fitted develops a problem later, Kevin comes back to repair or replace it.

Do you cover my area?
We work in Ipswich and about 20 miles around in Suffolk: Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Kesgrave, Needham Market, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and the villages between. We don’t work in Essex. A little further out in Suffolk? Ask: it often depends on the job.
Do you do the whole bathroom or kitchen, or just the fitting?
The whole job: strip-out, first fix, tiling, fitting and the finishing, so you have one firm to deal with. We work with local suppliers for suites, tiles and kitchens, and they draw up the designs.
How do you price a job?
Visits and quotes are free. We come and see the job, then give you a written quote so you know where you stand before anything starts.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. General building maintenance is part of what we do: plastering, plumbing, painting, carpentry and groundworks, as well as the full installations.
What if something goes wrong after you’ve finished?
Call us. If anything we installed develops a problem later, Kevin comes back to repair or replace it.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public and employers’ liability insurance (policy CHB15231168XB), and we’re a registered waste carrier (CBDU377130), so waste from your job is taken away legally.
